Pink eye usually ends up infecting both eyes. They are going to also tell you to wipe your eye with a warm face cloth to get rid of any gunk from inside out. Meaning wiping from the tear duct out. But other then that you can't really do anything at home for it besides trying to prevent it from happening again or passing it on to others in your home. I would also get rid of any make up that touched your eye to prevent infecting your eye again. And try not to touch your eye so you dont pass it on to others. Wash your hands frequently as well.
